Couture is the highest form of dressmaking. Unlike "off-the-rack" or fast fashion, a couture gown is hand-crafted specifically for your unique measurements. We use specialized sewing techniques that focus on quality and artistry rather than speed. Every stitch is made with intention, often by hand, to ensure a garment that is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.
Our journey is a collaborative and detailed experience divided into four main steps:
1. Consultation & Analysis: We begin by discussing your event, motif, and style preferences. I analyze your silhouette and personality to research and craft a design unique to you.
2. The Toile (Mock-up) Fitting: Once the design is finalized, we create a "toile"—a mock-up version of your dress. This allows us to perfect the fit and shape on your body before we touch the actual fabric.
3. Construction & Embellishment: After the fit is perfected, we move to the final fabric and begin the intricate hand-sewing and embellishments.
4. Final Delivery: We deliver your finished gown a few days before your event. This ensures the fit is exactly right, even if your measurements have slightly changed since our last meeting.
Couture Capsule is a collection of mix-and-match and detachable garment pieces designed to give you multiple looks from a single investment. Instead of a dress you can only wear once, we create modular pieces—such as detachable sleeves, removable overskirts, or interchangeable bodices.
This allows you to transform your outfit throughout your event (for example, from a formal ceremony look to a fun reception style) or re-wear individual pieces for different occasions in the future. It is sustainable, creative, and uniquely tailored to your lifestyle.
Yes! Please show me your inspiration photos. Knowing the colors, shapes, and fabrics you love helps me design the perfect gown for your special day.
I don’t offer direct copying, as every bride or client should feel completely unique. Rather than recreating another designer’s work, we use your inspiration photos to create an original custom gown that captures the feel you love while perfectly matching your style.
Yes, absolutely! Part of designing is helping you figure out what you love. During our meeting, we will discuss your event and your style preferences, and I will recommend styles and silhouettes that work best.
Minor adjustments can usually be made during the toile fitting. However, significant changes to the silhouette, structure, or major details once the actual fabric has been cut may require an extra fee, as it involves making a brand new pattern and sourcing new materials.
Yes, I offer an Exclusive Dressing Service to ensure your gown looks flawless. I arrive early to steam and prep your gown for your photoshoot, followed by personal assistance with dressing and final styling. This premium service lets you relax while I handle every intricate detail.
Note: This service is available upon request for an additional fee.
Every custom wedding gown comes with a Bridal Essentials . We provide the traditional pieces you need for your ceremony, designed to match the quality of your gown:
• Long Veil: It's used during the church ceremony. The size is 7 yards long and 120" width.
• Ceremonial Set: Secondary veil, cord, arras, ring pillow. These would be used during the church ceremony.
• Bridal Garter: This is a leg garter covered in blue lace for your "something blue." This will be used during the reception.
We do not lend mannequins for the duration of the event. However, if you book the Exclusive Dressing Service, I bring a professional mannequin to your preparation site. This is used specifically to display your gown for your morning photoshoot before you wear it. Once the dressing is complete, I will take the mannequin with me to ensure it remains in good condition for other clients.
