Meet the
Couturier
Alyssa de Guzman
The Creative Spark
My journey into the world of couture began long before I touched a needle. As a child, I spent hours designing dresses for my paper dolls. It would then be a premonition of the Couture Brand I lead today. This innate drive to create followed me to Assumption College, where I finished Advertising. I was surrounded by an environment of fashionable, high-end taste. I then told myself, I will create something as beautiful and elegant. Without any knowledge about sewing, I played with my mother’s sewing machine and created my very first dress for a friend's 18th birthday party. That chic and stylish little black dress sparked a lifelong dedication to the craft, evolving into the dedicated mastery that defines Alyssa de Guzman Couture today.

Mastering the Craft
I soon realized that true artistry required technical mastery. While finishing my degree in Advertising, I enrolled in the oldest Fashion School in the country, Slim’s Fashion and Arts School. I attended college classes in the morning, then fashion school in the afternoon, while still in my college uniform. After graduation, I then realize I want to pursue fashion full time. I refined my craft through working under another couture house and also an assistant stylist for the celebrities. These experiences taught me that a gown is more than just fabric—it is a visual statement of identity.

The Birth of the Private Atelier
I launched my eponymous couture brand with just ₱12,000 in my bank account and a crazy dream. My journey took me from commuting to my client's places, to renting an office in Magallaness to a necessary pivot during the global pandemic. When the world paused, I realized that luxury needed to be more intimate. I transitioned to a Private Home-Service Atelier, bringing the complete designer experience directly to the sanctuaries of my clients across Metro Manila, Laguna, and Cavite.
Artisan's Promise
As a solo couturier, I personally oversee every digital concept, every toile, every hand-stitched hem and every piece of beads. Your gown receives my undivided artistic devotion. I don’t just design dresses; I sew stories that are meant to be cherished for a lifetime.
